The Swedish pianist and music teacher Kristina Svanberg was born in Karlskoga in 1949. In 1970, she graduated as a piano teacher from the School of Music Education at Örebro College, Sweden. She also studied with Gottfrid Boon and Berit Tohver. Kristina Svanberg worked as a piano teacher for many years at Ljungskile Folk High School. She is still an active chamber musician and soloist, and has played a number of concerts on Swedish Radio.
